We were given a movie, and it’s script. The challenge was to recreate a scene of the movie into a book. The book was to be designed using only the script of the scene, one hundres percent typography. Using size and paying close attention to negative space, I was able to design a fairly dramatic book sequence. My choice to use black and white was related to the relationship of love and hate and also to create the most contrast possible for what I felt was a very powerful scene.
